Eyedress has been on a collaborative streak lately. After releasing a couple of songs with Mac DeMarco and “Separate Ways” featuring the Marías last month, he’s back with frontwoman Marìa Zardoya on another single called “A Room Up in the Sky.”
The song plays out like a bleary, sensual head rush that’s guided by velvety vocals and was made with Grammy-winning producer John Hill (SZA, Carly Rae Jepsen) at his studio in Venice earlier last year.
Eyedress is the stage name of Filipino musician Idris Vicuña. He is known for his work in the alternative and electronic music genres. Eyedress has gained recognition for his unique sound, blending elements of dream pop, electronic, and indie rock.
